The nurturing, growing, learning, maturing, ”educational” years in the lives of children and youth are the most exciting, memorable and challenging times for both the student and parent. Families who choose Christian School for their students are those who are dedicated to the purpose of Christian Education following the Biblical command of God to parents that they “train their children in the ways of God”. The command from God includes the academic as well as the spiritual training a parent provides their children in order that they “know “ how to walk in His paths, to think in His ways, to live in His Plan, and to glorify Him with their lives. Christian school education is a major force for good in the lives of children and youth and must be enhanced by a home life and spiritual life with prayer, bible reading and “Worship” attendance. Christian education at CCA dictates that there be close communication between the home and the school. If CCA is to be an extension of the home, there must be unity, and support between the two concerning educational objectives, methods of achieving those objectives, obligations of each party. The foundation of the CCA curriculum will be the Bible. Bible Study, scripture and prayer are important elements in the daily lives of students and faculty at CCA. Bible is a required part of the CCA curriculum. Students will be exposed to significant preparations throughout each school year that will complement their Christian development and academic endeavors. CCA will daily teach and reinforce Christian principles in the classroom. Each day the school day will begin with prayer, pledges, and Bible Study at every grade level. All subjects taught in the academic curriculum will be based on Christian worldview. A Beka Academic Curriculum will be the primary academic source. A Beka, is a Christian-based College Prep Curriculum that challenges students to excel in learning preschool and beyond. CCA students standardized achievement test scores rank 2-6 years above state and national averages. CCA will also use technological online learning programs from Biblically Based Curriculum to further enhance learning. CCA subjects will include: Bible, language arts, history, math, sciences, technology, journalism, foreign language as well exploratory and life skills lessons. CCA offers grade level - drama, music, , art, physical education, student community ministry, volleyball, basketball instruction to further enrich the standard curriculum.
